Jim Cooke has been working in insurance for over 30 years. Prior to founding Cooke Insurance, Jim began his career in Radio at age 15, as a disc jockey and sportscaster in radio broadcasting. For the next 13 years, he also did play-by-play for football games over the radio and as a tv broadcaster covering both Oklahoma and Texas, before switching to live television sportscasting in 1975. Later, Jim went into the sales fundraising industry where he was the Nation’s top salesman numerous times throughout the years. Jim formed Cooke Insurance (formerly Cooke Consulting) in 1994. Jim has won numerous awards for outstanding service and sales and has been the national top sales rep for a number of insurance sales organizations. Jim retired from play-by-play in 2015 to watch his grandson play for Putnam City North High School & then provided his voice to PCN as Public Address Announcer for basketball and football for 7 years. All together Jim has done play-by-play broadcasting for television and radio for 50 years. In addition, for the last three decades Jim has devoted himself to the service of helping people with their insurance needs. Married to his beautiful wife Deb for 40 years now, they have 7 children, 20 grandchildren and a whole lot of love!

In these confusing times in the health insurance industry, for both under-65 and over-65 policies (Medicare supplements), Jim stresses communication, follow-through, and customer service. Many of his clients have been with him for over 30 years!
